Yes, these are REAL license plates. The State of Missouri is requiring all license plate renewals to discard the old ones and obtain new ones, in an entirely different style. So these are the old plates off my car. They have been washed, but both have a little rust around one of the holes where you attached the plate to the car, and yes, there are a few minor little scrapes. After all, it was used on a car in its previous life!
The pages are very sturdy with cardstock covering chipboard cardstock. Every page has a place to journal information, take note, or even add pictures. The front and back inside cover pages have pockets for papers, receipts, etc. And of course, the license plates make the cover indestructible!
