Clipboard Project by Suzanne Carillo

This is a fun project. It is a transparent clipboard. You mount all of your papers behind the plastic and then are able to still use the clipboard in a practical sense or you can hang it on the wall as a decorative piece. It only took about 15 minutes to make.

Materials Required:

1 transparent 6' x 8.5" clipboard ( I picked mine up at Staples)
1 sheet of PDQ Take-Out paper # 5
black cardstock for matting photo
1 sheet of mounting adhesive
1 photo 3" x 3"
K & Co. Mira glitter Birds stickers
K & Co. Mira Words stickers & rub-ons
assorted ribbons

Clip board craft project idea designed by Suzanne Carillo for Bisous Made with PDQ Take-Out paper 5

1. Place your clipboard directly on top of the PDQ sheet so it looks exactly as show in photo. Trace around it and cut it out. You can see where I used the bit from the side of the sheet and mounted it below the 4 squares to make it the same size as the clipboard. The blue bit behind the photo and the tag at the side were just bits I had left-over from one of the other pieces of Take-Out line.
2. Matte your photo on black cardstock. I also left a border of white on the original photo. Assemble as shown in photo.
3. Add your stickers once everything else is glued down, unless you want to add rub-ons behind the photo, in which case you would do that first. I also wrote directly onto the PDQ paper in black ink to personalize it.
4. Place your clipboard onto the back side of your mounting adhesive and trace around it. Cut this out. You will have a piece of mounting adhesive the exact same size as your clipboard. Peel off the backing of the adhesive and place the clipboard on top...(the back side of the clipboard down). The clipboard will now have a clear sticky back. Place this directly on top of your finished page. Smooth down with your fingers well to remove any air pockets.
5. Add assorted ribbons to the clip.
